This is a print of a vintage botanical plan by the name of Great Yellow Gentain (gentiana lutina), originally created by Franz Eugen Kohler and digitally enhanced and edited by me.

Gentiana lutea, or great yellow gentian, is a large perennial herb native to the alpine meadows, moist grasslands, and open pastures of the central and southern European mountain ranges. Its root can get up to 60 years old and as thick as an arm. These showy flowers will attract pollinators such as hummingbirds, butterflies and bees while being resistant to deer and rabbits. Gentian is an herb. The root of the plant and bark are used to make medicine. Gentian is used for digestion problems such as loss of appetite, bloating diarrhea, and heartburn. It is also used for fever and to prevent muscle spasms.
