The frame is made from solid wood and has a shatterproof acrylic glazing that is similar to glass except it is lighter and safer for shipping. The back of the frame has a Kraft paper cover as well as a hanging wire installed.
The art print in the frame is printed on a thick, textured 340gsm archival paper. It is loosely mounted, meaning it is not glued down to a foam board. This helps prevent warping from adhesives and you could also switch out your art into a different frame without damaging the print.
**Please note this frame is a thicker frame and will look thicker on smaller sized prints such as the 8x10**
