Beyond Distance

This is an original print created by me to express a feeling I had not experienced until recently. I’m not a trained artist—my “art” is the message. If it meets you where you are, that’s enough for me.

When a soul leaves this world, something shifts. Even if we never crossed paths, our souls recognize the absence- especially when faith binds us together as children of God. This painting is my way of giving form to that invisible bond — a reminder that spirit ties us together more than time or place ever could.

The brushstrokes carry both shadow and radiance, because to be human is to feel the absence and the glow at once. This piece is an invitation to pause, reflect, and remember that none of us walks alone.

It is also a reminder that mourning is not limited to those we knew personally — it is part of being human, part of acknowledging the shared weight of loss. To grieve is to honor life itself.
